Las esferas que cuelgas todos los años del árbol recuerdan
a las manzanas que pendían de los árboles sagrados. En un principio se adornó
el árbol con manzanas. Actualmente las esferas, simbolizan los dones de Dios a
los hombres (sabiduría, entendimiento, ciencia, consejo, piedad, fortaleza,
temor a Dios).
MEANING OF THE CHRISTMAS SPHERES:
The spheres that hang every
year from the tree are reminiscent of the apples hanging from the sacred trees.
At first the tree was decorated with apples. At present the spheres symbolize
the gifts of God to men (wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, piety,
strength, fear of God).
